Reduce glare around your Red Sea ReefLED G2

The powerful LEDs of the Red Sea ReefLED G2 provide the light your reef needs, but their brightness can also create distracting glare and sideways light spill, especially when the aquarium is viewed from a seated position.

This light shade surrounds the lower edge of your ReefLED G2 and helps shield your eyes from direct LED light. It creates a more comfortable viewing experience while keeping the focus on your aquarium.

The precisely fitted slide-on design requires no magnets, tools or modifications. Select the version that matches your ReefLED G2 60, 115 or 170.

Each light shade is designed for a specific ReefLED G2 model and is not interchangeable between the different sizes.

External dimensions

Approximate external dimensions of each shade, in width × depth × height:

• ReefLED G2 60: 12.5 × 12.5 × 11 cm
• ReefLED G2 115: 16 × 14 × 11 cm
• ReefLED G2 170: 18.5 × 16.5 × 11.5 cm

These are the outside dimensions of the shade, not the internal opening or the distance it extends below the light.

Installation

Important: install the light shade on the ReefLED G2 before attaching the light fixture to a mounting arm. If the light is already attached to an arm, detach it before fitting the shade. Fit the shade first, then attach the light fixture to the mounting arm.

Carefully slide the light shade onto your ReefLED G2 until it sits securely around the fixture. No tools, magnets or permanent modifications are required.

Remove the shade periodically and wipe away dust or salt deposits with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaning products.
